True Unified Communications

Just about every technology vendor is talking about unified communications. Our definition is a single platform that interconnects multiple communications/mediums and business systems/applications. Recently, vendors such as Microsoft and Nortel have announced partnerships to provide a unified communications platform, melding together disparate software (Microsoft) and hardware (Nortel) solutions. Other vendors such as Cisco offer a multitude of solutions such as the Cisco Unified CallConnector, Cisco Unified Applications Environment (CUAE), Cisco Unified Operations Manager 2.0, Cisco Unified Service Monitor 2.0, Cisco Unified Videoconferencing System Manager which allows organizations using Cisco Unified Videoconferencing to schedule and control a videoconference from a Web browser and Microsoft Outlook calendars. It doesn't have to be this complex!

With 13 years of R&D on the Interwise solution, the platform has a clear lead in terms of breadth of functionality, ease of use and deployment, and total cost of ownership. We leverage your existing IP PBX (or can add a gateway), your existing pc's, and your existing network infrastructure. No need for hardware based IP phones, and multiple solution boxes for voice, video, and data. With one client, you get voice, video, data sharing, recording, instant messaging, and you can even utilize your existing telephone system at the same time others are using the built-in VoIP - this is exclusive to the Interwise ECP Connect solution. To even further differentiate our solution, you can connect your in-house Interwise servers to the Interwise global Expressway giving you instant global coverage and support over hundreds of load balancing, failover "connection servers".

Unified Communications - The Interwise ECP Connect Way

The diagram below depicts a complete solution integrated with your: phone system, existing hardware based conferencing solution, ERP/business system, email solution (Outlook / Lotus Notes), LDAP, and in 2007 Microsoft's Instant Messaging client. You can deploy connection servers in your distant regions (bottom left box), or you can simply connect your in-house servers to the Interwise connection servers as shown in the middle box on the bottom.

We would gladly discuss the above and can provide onsite trials at your request. Contact us today!
